Managed IT Services in Sandy, Priced in Public

Our managed IT services in Sandy, Utah cover the whole function for one flat fee per person: an unlimited help desk, monitoring that runs overnight, patching on a schedule, backups we restore from on purpose, and security tooling in the base price rather than the tier above it. You stop paying by the incident and start paying by the head, and you know the number before you ever call us.

What separates us from the other providers working this valley is what we publish and what we refuse to lock. Every rate is on our pricing page, agreements run month to month with no buyout, and hardware is passed through at cost, so we never make money by telling you to buy something. Our Salt Lake office sits at 9133 Monroe Plaza Way, a few blocks from the Cairns build-out, which means Sandy is not a service area on a map for us. It is the drive we already make.

A job we get called for constantly: a firm outgrows its suite, takes space in one of the newer Sego Lily Drive buildings, and discovers during the move that the floor was wired for half the density it needs. That is cheap to solve in week one of planning and expensive to solve on move-in weekend. The planning conversation is part of the monthly fee, not a change order.

The Short Version

What You Are Actually Buying

Managed IT means the whole function is handled for a flat monthly fee per person: monitoring that runs whether or not anyone is watching, patching that happens on schedule, backups that get tested, and a help desk your staff can call as often as they need. You stop paying by the incident and start paying by the head.

For a Sandy office of ten to eighty people the real comparison is against the two things companies do instead: call somebody when the building stops working, or hire one person and hope they never take a holiday.

Everything a Managed+ Plan Covers

One price per user, and no hourly billing during business hours. If a line item is not on this list, we will tell you before it appears on an invoice.

Help Desk Without a Meter

Your team calls or emails as often as they need to. Nobody has to weigh whether a problem is worth the ticket, which is how small problems get reported while they are still small.

Monitoring That Runs Overnight

Every machine and server reports in continuously. A drive throwing errors or a stalled backup becomes our ticket before it becomes your outage.

Patching on a Schedule

Operating systems and applications stay current without anyone chasing update prompts. Most breaches walk through a hole that a patch had already closed months earlier.

Backups We Restore From

Server and workstation backups, tested by actually pulling data back out of them. An untested backup is a hope, not a plan.

Security in the Base Price

Endpoint protection, email filtering and firewall management are part of the plan rather than a conversation we have after something has already gone wrong.

Starters and Leavers

A new hire begins Monday with accounts, laptop and access ready. Someone resigns and their access closes the same day, cleanly, including the accounts people forget about.

Planning Before the Move

Regular reviews of what is aging out and what is coming due, so a refresh lands in next year's budget rather than on a Tuesday.

Two Security Audits a Year

A full Microsoft security review twice a year, worth more than $1,000, included on Managed+ rather than sold as a project.

Live Training Every Month

Free monthly cybersecurity and AI sessions your whole team can join. Training the people is still the cheapest risk reduction available.

Need something outside the monthly plan? We also handle cybersecurity for Sandy businesses, HIPAA, PCI and FERPA compliance work, Wi-Fi and network design, and SharePoint and Microsoft 365. The wider service is on our managed IT services in Utah page, and the general Sandy office overview covers everything else we do here.

The Differences That Are Checkable

Everyone Promises Responsive and Proactive.
These Four You Can Verify Before Calling.

Every IT provider serving this valley lists the same services. These are the four claims you can check without booking a meeting first.

We Are Based in the City

Monroe Plaza Way is a Sandy address. Onsite here is a short drive, not a regional dispatch.

Who Calls Us Here

Sandy Businesses on a Managed IT Plan

We run IT for offices between roughly eight and a few hundred people. These four come up most often in this city, and each one breaks in its own way.

Construction & Trades

Crews, tablets and job site connectivity for the builders working through the pipeline, from The Summit on Monroe Street to Centennial Village on Sego Lily Drive.

Small Manufacturing

Shop floor machines that cannot be patched on the same schedule as the front office, and the network segmentation that keeps them apart.

Property Management

Scattered sites, a lot of contractors touching the same systems, and access that has to be revoked the day someone leaves.

Nonprofits & Associations

Small teams, tight budgets, and boards that need the technology plan explained in language they can actually vote on.

Changing Providers

Moving to Us Without a Bad Monday

Almost everyone who calls already has IT. They are calling because chasing it has become part of their job. Here is what the change actually looks like.

1

Tell Us What Breaks

We ask what your staff complains about, what you have paid to fix twice, and where you expect to be in two years.

2

Find Out What Is There

We document the network, licensing and security posture before touching anything, because inheriting a system you have not mapped is how outages happen.

3

Cut Over After Hours

Monitoring and tooling go up alongside your current provider, then we switch after close. We also chase the outgoing provider for credentials so you are not the middleman.

4

Keep Showing Up

Scheduled reviews, two security audits a year on Managed+, and a number that reaches someone who knows what we built for you.

Numbers Up Front

You Should Not Need a Sales Call to Find Out What Something Costs

Most IT providers serving this valley will not put a number in front of you until you have sat through a meeting. Ours are published, so you can budget before you contact anyone. Hardware is passed through at cost, which means we make nothing by telling you to buy something. Compare the tiers on the pricing page or go straight to what Managed+ includes.

Asked Before Signing

Managed IT in Sandy: Real Answers

The questions Sandy business owners put to us before they decide, answered the way we answer them on the phone.

What does a month of managed IT actually run for a Sandy office of twenty people?
Twenty users on Managed+ is $135 each per month, so $2,700, and that covers the help desk, monitoring, patching, backup, security tooling and the two annual Microsoft security audits with no hourly billing during business hours. There is an eight user minimum. If that is more than you need, Monitored is $25 per device per month for tooling and monitoring without full support. Every one of those numbers is on the pricing page without a form in front of it.
If it is not working out, how fast can we leave and what does it cost us?
You give notice and the agreement ends at the end of the month. There is no buyout, no early termination charge, and no clause that makes the last invoice bigger than the others. We hand documentation and credentials to whoever comes next rather than making them ask three times. This is deliberate: a provider who has locked you in for three years has stopped needing to be good.
Walk me through the switch. What does my staff have to do while it happens?
Almost nothing, which is the point. We document your environment first, then stand our monitoring and security tooling up alongside whatever your current provider is running, so both are live at once. The cutover happens after close, and most people find out because the support number changed. Getting passwords and licensing out of an outgoing provider is our problem, not yours.
Our building went up before the Cairns plan and the cabling shows it. Is that a problem?
It is a common one here, and no, it is not a blocker. Plenty of offices around Historic Sandy sit in buildings that predate the current city center plan and were wired for a fraction of what a modern office pushes through them. We survey what is in the walls and separate the things worth rewiring from the things a better switch or access point placement will fix. Cabling is scoped as a project rather than folded into the monthly fee, and you see the number before we start.
Our controller has quietly become the IT person. What does she keep and what do you take?
We take the monitoring, patching, security, backups and the help desk calls, which is the part eating her week. She usually keeps being the internal point of contact, because someone inside the business should know what is going on and hold the vendor relationship. Most companies find this costs less than backfilling the finance work she is not getting to.
Do your technicians actually come to the office, or is this all remote?
Both, and remote handles more than people expect. We can connect securely to a machine while still on the phone with the person using it, which resolves most issues faster than anyone could drive over. When something needs hands on it we come, and because our office is at 9133 Monroe Plaza Way that is a short trip rather than a regional dispatch.
We are hiring fast. Can you keep up with onboarding new people?
Yes, and this is one of the clearer arguments for managed IT over a single hire. Onboarding is built into the plan: accounts, licensing, device setup and access are ready for a start date rather than assembled on the morning. Offboarding gets less attention and matters just as much: when someone leaves we close access the same day, including the shared logins that usually get missed for months.
Which things will still show up on a separate invoice?
Hardware, at cost with no markup. Large one-off projects such as an office move, a cabling run or a server replacement, quoted in advance. Third party licensing at what it costs us. After-hours emergency work at $175 per hour on Managed+. Everything else your staff generates during business hours is in the monthly fee.
Is there a minimum, and what happens if we drop below it?
Managed+ has an eight user minimum. If your headcount falls under that we bill the eight rather than dropping you, or we move you to Monitored at $25 per device per month if that fits better. Small offices often get the most out of it, because they are least likely to have anyone whose job title involves IT.
